I am having the worst munchies at night! Is it ok to have induction friendly snacks at night or do you think that slows weight loss? I am not really feeling hungry, I just want some chicken wings so bad right now! I have been getting the plain frozen ones and seasoning myself. Sometimes I buffalo them. Back on subject; I feel like a lunatic! I have been snacking on deli turkey, pepperonis and sometimes an ounce of cheddar. I don't think I am losing as much as I should on induction either.

    Thanks in advance!

It's really hard to learn to eat when you are hungry, not when you are bored. I have such a problem with that myself. I always want to eat at night. Lately what I have been doing is drinking some water, and trying to go to bed early...However, if you are hungry, I don't think eating in the evening should hurt you.

I do the same thing as Chicago girl. I've learned that my body tricks me into thinking I'm hungry when really I'm thirsty.

I do the same thing at night - snack hunting... hrm. I try the glass of water and if I still want something after that then I have the snack. Sometimes it's your body actually saying that it wants something..

I don't understand what you mean by you don't think you're losing as much as you should be on induction either. Today's day 5 for you, yeah? Which means there are still 9 days to go. Some people lose less in the beginning of the two weeks, or less at the end, it's really hard to tell what your body's going to say or do from one day to the next which is why they say not to weigh yourself until Day 14. Some people are more resistant than others as well, but you won't be able to calculate that out until the day 14 for you. Just keep doing what you know is going to work and remember, that even if it's going slow, it's still going.

You're body's going through a lot right now. I used to get that in the beginning, the late night when your mind wanders to food. It's just a habit, I discovered myself. Do you have enough to eat at dinner time? If you really are hungry, you should eat. Otherwise like others have said, it could actually be thirst.
I love how the fat makes you not hungry for ages, somedays now I have to remind myself to eat it gets easier so hang in there. Oh, and also I gained about 4 lbs of so much fluid in the first few days when I started Atkins (yes, I weighed myself lol) and then the next week a big whoosh. Everyone is different, but Atkins works
