  • I have a long way to go...but I'm trying

    So my parents came into town and wanted to go out to eat...we ended up at Golden Corral buffet....
    I had a piece of steak, a piece of baked chicken and probably WAY to much spinich and brocolli....but I did not have anything else, no bread, no desserts, no potatoes, no rice....I have to say that part makes me proud...
    What I need to work on is eating till I'm full and not stuffed....
    Why is being "fluffy" so easy and being not so "fluffy" so darn hard??

    Good for you avoiding the starchy carbs. What I found really helpful was to get in the habit of measuring my veggies at home. Then when I ate out, I had an idea what 2 cups of salad or 1 cup of a cooked veggie was and I could estimate the proper amount to eat. Believe me, restaurant servings are typically larger than 'real' servings.
