I took Califlower in a baggie in my purse and my big ole water bottle.
I had a drink and the crunch!

    Good Luck!

My favorite alternative is "money in my wallet."

      Seriously.

The food they have there is overpriced AND unhealthy. And they don't like it if you bring your own (which is why walk softly and carry a big purse.)

If you MUST snack, bring fresh veggies and a bottle of water. Perhaps a cheese stick and some deli meat or pepperoni.

Personally, I just eat a snack before I go, then have a meal afterwards.

        Pepperoni sliced, cheese, veggie sticks.

Again, if you aren't hungry, don't eat for the sake of eating or "because I always eat something at the movies." Get rid of the eating habits that have put you on a weight loss diet in the first place.

BTW...thanks for the responses. I really do find this place "comforting" especially since I am the only one at Atkins at my house.

                pork rinds
                water
                pepperoni slices and jicama slices
                celery pieces
                cheese chunks

Take a baggie, cut up bite sized pieces of the celery and jicama and add the pepperoni slices and a couple ounces of cheese in bite size pieces. Now you have a "trail mix" so to speak to just munch on. You could add some pork rinds into this too.

I've been to the movies twice so far on induction (this is not a common occurrance for me to go that frequently, just happened) but when I do go, I've ALWAYS had popcorn, sour worms, and chocolate candy.
Now, I just ate a big supper before going, so I was full. And decided to break old habits altogether by not eating anything. I was even able to pass the popcorn bucket back and forth between my family, and not grab a handful.

I cannot bear to go to the movies w/o popcorn. However, on my 2nd day of induction I took the kids....I brought cheese and cuke slices and amazingly I survived!!!!!! Pepperoni sounds good too. can you have pork rinds on induction???????????????????

As a fellow movie goer I beg you please don't bring a pickle. There are lots of other good choices and pickles just have such a strong smell.

You might not like the movie theatre that I go to most often then...they sell those GIANT dill pickles right there at the concession stand!
