  • How important is eating eggs in the am?

How important is it to eat eggs and a side of meat in the am? I was on for a very long time eggs and bacon everyday, then stepped off atkins for a while. Now I need to get back on and can't stomach the taste off eggs anymore. They go right thru me!

I can eat omelettes, but no other way.

How about egg salad? What would that be good with?

    thanks

No reason to eat eggs if you don't want to. Sometimes I eat leftover chicken, a hamburger patty, etc if I don't feel like eggs. Some people don't eat eggs at all.

who says you have to eat eggs in the morning? you can eat whatever induction-legal foods you want. heck, some folks on here have stated that they've eaten salad for breakfast! meat, fish, veggies, whatever strikes your fancy. sometimes i eat sausage or bacon with sliced tomato, cuke, basil, and some cream cheese. yummm...

you have lots of options, really. good luck!

I dont think I have had eggs once for breakfast in the last 3 and a half years on Atkins!!

Just choose something you like to eat from the allowed foods list and enjoy!!

My current easy breakfast is ham and cheese rollups with some cherry tomatoes!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
