Okay, so I've been feeling great and am in ketosis, but am having problems getting enough veggies/carbs. I have a cup of salad in the afternoon and then some kind of veggie with supper. My main question is, Is it bad to not eat the 15-20 g amount of carbs? I am at about 10 g. net carbs per day.

You need to eat three cups of veggies. Either two cups salad veggies and one cup "other" veggies or three cups salad veggies. Depending on your choice of veggies that day you might not take in that many carbs. Like 2 cups lettuice and 1 cup spinach have few carbs. However even on days like this you are taking in carbs from eggs, cheese, cream, olives, avocado, etc. You really do need to eat all your veggies and try different ones!Maggie(F) age 31

If you are finding it hard to eat your second cup of veggies why not choose some from the 2-cup list that can be cooked down into a smaller amount like bell peppers and use them as a garnish on your meats?
Or add some to your breakfast - I like to chop up and add them to omelettes or scrambled eggs - or chop up some celery and mix with mayo for a tasty snack instead of nibbling on cheese or meats.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
