I have had this odd sweet taste in my mouth all day and it is day three of induction for me, could it be possible that this is a sign of ketosis?

Apparently, drinking extra water helps with the Atkins breath/taste... and of course water is something we should all drink masses of on Atkins... so it would be killing two birds with one stone.Before and after:

Is it possible to be at a stall and still be in ketosis??? Im on day 19 of by the book induction and am consistantly in the "pink" zone on my ketosis stick, but I am not showing any movement on the scale... ?Stephy

How are your inches altering, Stephy?
A stall is 'officially' no inches or pounds lost for one month BTW.
Many of us find our losses go in fits and starts - pounds some weeks and inches other weeks, so just keep on keeping on and I am sure you will continue to be a loser.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

I guess I'd better whip out my measuring tape and get my numbers.. I lost all 14lbs in my first 8 or 9 days and the scale hasnt budged since, but it's confusing because I'm still getting good results on my ketosis sticks...Stephy

I'm the same way. I lost 10lbs on my induction and haven't lost anymore since but my clothes are definatly looser. I think everyone stalls but we have to hang in there. The weight will eventually come down.

Well the weird taste has disappeared but I haven't changed anything except not drinking artificially sweetened drinks all of the time. I'm not sure what I have done wrong but the only thing can think of is not getting enough carbs. This have been really hard for me. At the most I'll have a side salad from mcdonald's minus the tomatoes, or maybe some zucchini with italian dressing. I'm not really hungry anymore....162/151/130

Hello,
I don't really have a sweet taste in my mouth, but after every meal I have I always have this lingering horrible taste in the back of my mouth that drives me crazy. The only way I can describe it is the putrid remnants of meat. I brush my teeth twice after every meal now.
Here's to hoping that it will leave me in time... And here's to me never ever eating onions again!
