  • Cravings...big time...help!

    Hi, I've been really good since 01.08.07. I went shoping today and saw a box of sugar free oreo's. I never bought them even when I weighed almost 300 pounds. Every where I look I see sweet treats that I want to have.

    I ate some cheese while I was shopping that I helped me. Maybe I was hungry and really didn't want something sweet. I felt better after that, but deep down inside I wanted some candy. I think maybe it's getting closer to TOM.

    I came home and made two scrambled eggs and some sausage...I still want something sweet . I'm going to drink some water maybe that help.

    I don't really know the composition of the Oreo's but sugar free does not necessarily mean carb free so prolly best to stay away. When I want something sweet, I usually drink a Splenda beverage, like Diet 7up or Diet Rite (hard to find tho!) If you only have 1 can, then the caffeine is neglegiable. Hope this helps!

      My sweet fix,
      2 tablespoons baking cocoa
      2 tablespoons heavy cream
      1 packet of splenda
      water

      I would put the water and the cream together in a cup and microwave it for about a minute Then mix the baking cocoa and splenda, it makes a wonderful induction friendly chocolate fix. You can use more or less cocoa to suit your taste.
