Re: Fell off the wagon last night!! Need a little help/reassurance please!

    Thanks Lori

Yep I'm feeling better about it now...I don't think I'll be cheating again in a hurry cos to be honest it made me feel so tired and sluggish for most of the next day...just like I use to when I was loading up with carbs!! I don't really want to feel like that again, I feel so much healthier and have much more energy than I used to!

I think we are all human, I know my weakness, is all the junk my sisters bring to bingo... the carbohydrates will stay in your system untill you burn them off to go back into ketosis... for me a really good workout will get me back if I slip, and of course remembering how much I had to work out for 5 minutes of weakness helps...lol

        Hi Foxy
I need to start exercising more...!

Well done on your great weight loss and congrats on your forthcoming wedding!
My daughter is getting married next year and that is a big motivation for both of us!
I've always been big but she was a skinny little thing (8 stone 5 lbs) until she left school and started work...then an office job and driving license put an end to any exercise! She now weighs in at around 12 stone...having lost 5lbs during induction!
I'm doing this almost as much for her as for myself...I hate to see her unhappy about her size!

Thanks! The wedding is keeping me in line, thats for sure.....I have really noticed any form of activity seems to speed things up or help my out of a stall if I fall into one. It is hard, because I am not one of those people who love excersizing, but I LOVE the results, and that seems to keep me going!

Re: Fell off the wagon last night!! Need a little help/reassurance please!

Hi Foxy... we have a couple of things in common... I don't like exercise (well, I do after I've actually got started), and my daughter's wedding in 5 weeks and me having to walk her down the aisle, is what prompted me to start Atkins. With all eyes on me (after being on my daughter first), I don't want to roly-poly down the aisle - I want to look better than this. My face is already thinner than in the photo, but I have a lot more to lose yet
