Re: still craving choc and cake on day 12

I really think that your cravings are still hanging around b/c of the diet jello and diet sodas. Aspertame is the death of my diet and it makes ALL of my craving come back, with a vengance. A diet caffeine free soda sweeted w/ splenda would be acceptable. Also, caffeine is famous for unstable bloodsugar.

Also, I found a great recipe on here for your own induction freindly DIY Jello. It's made w/ a half a packet of koolaid (make sure that are so starchs and such) and splenda, and un flavored geletin. Two good options that will still give you something delicious and safe and will help to get that sugar monster away.
    HTH!!!

Ok I fell off the wagon after day 20. I broke down and had chocolate and then I had sushi. I feel awful. I am going to have to start this all over. I am down 10lbs which is probably too much since I have only 25lbs of pregnancy weight to take off so 15lbs to go. I was so good but I just couldn't do it and it feels terrible. So not matter what you do, know that if you do eat that chocolate you are going to feel very guilty and it is a terrible feeling.

I totally know where you are coming from!! I had some diet pespi night before last, and gained almost 2 pounds back the next day (my body does NOT like diet soda..but my mouth does, you see)...but I decided to put it behind me, start fresh tomorrow and it came off and then some. It is SO hard to deal w/ those cravings. Something is keeping them alive and it makes falling off almost a definate thing for some of us....at least me.

Congrats on being so close to goal. If you feel like you are losing too much too fast, I would step through the rungs so that you have more food options and your losses slow down. I remember DR Atkins saying something along the lines of...slower losses keeps you from having that "crash diet mentality"...and that the longer and slower the weight comes off, the better chance you have to change bed habits and keep this weight off for good. So by ALL means, if you htink you ar elosing too fast, you probably are. You know your body better than everyone else. I would slow it down and have more options in your diet that way you are less likely to stray again.

        HTH!!!!!!!

And don't feel guilty too much, you are human after all
