why people tell you to avoid trigger foods on induction. I took V-day off, for various reasons and ate a few bites of things that I shouldn't have- ok. I can deal with that. But then I had bought some Lipton Diet Green Tea with Citrus pre-Atkins and found it when I was thirsty, and thought, well that's OK b/c it has zero carbs and sugar. But something in it, not the Nutrasweet because that hasn't stalled me before, but something made me feel horrible and I started craving all the chocolate and bread I had not wanted forever. I finally have cleansed my system of all that stuff and am back on full induction. Not because I cheated, but because I wanted to so badly. I was so disappointed. So just a note of caution to people who are new: please please don't have "just one" of ANY trigger food.

Re: Now I understand....
I've found that, also. Just one bite can set me off onto a day long binge. I very simply loose control. And I don't like to be out of control of my eating.
Christmas '05, I had ONE chocolate pixie after my satisfying breakfast of sausage and eggs. I don't know why I did, other than it was Christmas. One pixie led to ten, then all day long I ate garbage and was sick all night with stomach cramps. All from one little pixie.
