  • Day 1 Down :)

After a VERY long absence from eating properly (and this board!), I'm back. Today went VERY well....

    Scrambled Eggs for breakfast
    Chef's Salad for lunch
    Celery for a snack
Chops & mixed veggies for dinner.

So far have had about 3 or 4 litres of water.
Limited Tea intake to 2 cups

Only real downfall? Today was "Healthy Snack Day" at work, and I call it "Banana Day" for a reason. I had already eaten my banana before I realized that they're not allowed on Induction.

Tomorrow will be the "hard" one...Sushi Day in the workplace cafeteria...no more California Rolls

Glad to see your getting back in the swing of things. I am on day 9 I EAT A LOT more then you avarage 1000-1500 calories a day "a few days less a few days more" i've lost 6 pounds!. Take a look at some of the stickies here when i 1st started i was not well informed about the fat part of this diet. 65% of your intake should be fat & 30% protein 5% carbs. Looks like you had very little fat. I need to get up my carb intake i'm always about 2-4% carbs i'm not that into veggies.

lol...I forgot to add that my Scrambled Eggs had some Cheddar in them, and I had a couple of small cheesy snacks along the way. I seem to have developed a Blind Spot for Cheese...

Maybe next time I'll drizzle a little more garlic butter on the mixed veggies too

And MistyDawn...I'll seriously need to steer clear of the lunchroom tomorrow if I want to keep away from the Cali Rolls...I can already hear them calling my name.....

It looks like you are on your way again, Zuleika

Make sure you have soem fat with that celery snack though - I like pate or cream cheese with mine!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
