Hi All, I started my Induction two days ago.
I would appreciate someone telling me if I can continue to use my ground flaxseeds and psyllium husks in water every morning?
The flaxseeds have equal amount of carbs and fiber.
The psyllium has 4 grams of crabs and 3 grams of fiber.
It keeps me regular and I take the Flaxseeds for my high Blood Pressure and Cholesterol.
    Thanks for any help,

Re-read Chapter 8 or 9 of DANDR 2002. It tells you all about the daily fiber requirements and what kinds of fiber you may use.

By the way, flaxseed/meal DOES have carbs. The labeling information is deceptive because the USDA has non-existent laws for carbohydrate labeling: manufacturers are allowed to round up numbers. 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed has about 0.1 net carbs. While that amount might seem very small, those carbs add up especially if you aren't careful in measuring your foods.
