    Hi guys,

Just wondering if I can have scallops? I have found many recipes and I'm tired of chicken and steak every night.

    thanks

Yes. But why would you want to? They're slimy and yucky and make me break out in hives.

yeah, they are pretty good. Some people say that they can make you stall. I've only had them a few times here and there, so I've never noticed any stall. I eat more shrimp because it is easily available.

Scallops make some people stall? That's weird...hmmm... Isn't it crazy what can affect us? Scallops can be great though...wrap them in some bacon and broil them....yummy!

                Hey Higgies

How long do you broil them for? I was just going to cook them in butter.

Check out this post: Seared Scallops and Shrimp. There are so many yummy pictures in that thread, but for some reason the Scallops have just stuck in my mind this week. I'm buying some tomorrow.

My favorite scallops recipe: Prosciutto-wrapped scallops.

Wrap each scallop in a small piece of prosciutto, and put them on skewers. Grill and baste with butter and season with crushed pepper. YUM!

However you prepare them, just make sure you count the carbs in the scallops!!
