Raspberries. I went to do my weekly weigh-in this morning and even though I feel like I've been very careful with portion sizes, ratios, exercise and water I'm posting a big 0 loss in inches and pounds for my first week back on induction. How frustrating!
Here is one of my sample menus, for reference:
Breakfast:
3 eggs scrambled
2 oz sausage (no added sugar)
Lunch:
3 slices bacon
3 medium lettuce leaves
2 tablespoons mayonaise
6-7 cucumber slices
Dinner:
medium chicken breast
1.5 cups frozen broccoli
2 tablespoons Ranch dressing
Snack:
1 slice (oz) American cheese
5 cherry tomatos
1427 calories, 18 total carbs, ratios of 5:31:64. I am drinking in excess of 200 ounces of water daily and my job keeps me extermely cardio busy (I'm up and down four flights of stairs and all over our property for 9 hours a day).
I take a daily multivitamin, a B- complex, magnesium, chromium, biotin as well as an antiobiotic for my skin and 450mg of Wellbutrin daily. I've inducted several times before without these last two prescriptions and have never had a ZERO loss; even on days where my carb intake is lower and I would traditionally register high on the ketostix I am barely making small.
My major concern is that the antibiotic or the high dosage of the Wellbutrin (one of the highest dosages possible) may be acting as a big barrier. I know that my skin and my anxiety/depression will probably decrease with my bloodsugar under control, but I'm nervous to discontinue either.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm a sad panda
