Subtract the fiber count that is right below total carbs on the package. I believe that is the only thing you can safely subtract. Some say sugar alcohols but some say not.
I am not sure if you are referring to the fiber in beans in your chilli. If you are then you should know that beans are a no-no for induction. Beans will come later on OWL. Home made chilli is very easy to make and that way you can control what you put in it. No beans or sugars. Hope this helps.

The only beans allowed during Induction phase are green beans or string beans. Pinto beans, kidney beans, black beans, etc. are not allowed. So you shouldn't have to worry about subtracting the fiber in them during this phase of Atkins because you aren't supposed to be eating them.
Nope. According to Dr. Atkins' Rules of Induction:
4. Eat absolutely no fruit, bread, pasta, grains, starchy vegetables or dairy other than cheese, cream or butter. Do not eat nuts or seeds in the first two weeks. Foods that combine protein and carbohydates such as chickpeas, kidney beans and other legumes, are not permitted at this time.
Soy beans are legumes. So they are not permitted during Induction phase.
