I just started induction yesterday. I got on the scale this morning and I had gained five lbs since thursday of last week. I know that's impossible so I'm guessing that my weight is just up from what I ate yesterday (burgers, salmon, cheese). When did everyone start seeing a loss?

Hi Snuggles!! You'll start seeing a change when the weight starts to shed off, usually in a week or so? sometimes longer sometimes less. Its when you start feeling the change...its great! After a few days of induction you may feel pretty lousy...headache, body ache, no energy...just plain yucky. Its called induction flu and its a good thing, no matter how bad it feels. After that is over ( I can say how long it will last, everyone is different ) You'll wake up with so much energy and positive attitude you'll be glowing!! Just make sure you stick to the plan, drink your water, eat your veggies and get some excersize. The first time I did Atkins over a year ago I lost 9lbs in the first week, some lose more, some lose less. Good luck and keep posting!!

I would suggest not weighing until induction is over. Our weight fluctuates daily and HOURLY based on what we've eaten or had to drink, if we've exercised, hormonal fluctuations, etc. The scale can be torturous and cruel...so back away from the scale and throw the thing in the closet until day 14.

Another thing, you may start to feel it before you actually see it - or at least see big numbers. After the first week of induction, I already felt thinner. My pants were getting looser, I had 100x more energy, etc. Hope that helps.
