One other question - does anyone else feel like they are more absentminded doing Atkins, or maybe just during the induction phase? I'm a little freaked out at how much I've been forgetting lately, which is not like me!

Re: Forgetfulness
jmprgrl, I started on 3/5 as well and I would say that I'm feeling the opposite of what you're saying. If anything, I'm feeling more mentally sharp and aware.
I'm forgetful by nature, so I would say leaving my apartment yesterday unsure of whether I locked the door or not would be normal for me, Induction or not.Started: 3/5/07

Re: Forgetfulness
I agree, my mental fog cleared up when I began Atkins. Now if I forget something, it's because I'm going 100mph and doing too many things. (lots of energy
)
It could just be that your body is "out of sorts" and getting used to the fact that it won't be running on carbs for fuel. Usually you'll get a burst of energy after an initial "flu" period. Other members have reported feeling tired on induction but regained a lot of energy when they moved to OWL rung 1.START 8/16/06 @ 270+~MG1: 220-12/2/06~MG2: 210-1/07~MG3: 199-3/2/07~MG4: 190-4/27/07~MG5: 180-7/04/07~GOAL: 170
