  • 14 days, 8lbs and 15.5" gone! - food tips

Morning everyone!! I just had to report that after 2 weeks of induction I have lost a total of 8 lb (4.5 week 1 and 3.5 week 2) and a total of 15.5" I am thrilled to pieces! Hubby noticed this morning that I look thinner which made me smile. I am going to do another 2 weeks on induction, mostly because I screwed up and had macadamia nuts most days and didnt realize until late that they are not allowed during this time.

I did find that if you dont have the book but go to the list of forms and find the Atkins Phases - Low Carb Diet FAQ's, you can get most of your questions answered. I found the rules for induction, the list of foods allowed for each rung etc. Super super info there!

I am also going to start using the treadmill at the clubhouse 5 mornings a week before work, my goal being 30 min each day. From no exercising to 30 min a day that will be a good goal for me to start.

Just a note to all if you havent found the 2 following products you might want to try them.

Walden Farms Dressings - 0 calories, 0 fat, 0 carbs 0 sugars etc. A little watery but great in flavor!!

True Lemon Crystalized Lemon - 0 calories, 0 fat, <1 carb. These are tiny packets I keep in my purse and drawer at work for the OCCASIONAL time I just dont want plain water. One gives a bottle of water a nice light lemon flavor and no strange taste. Its made of Citric Acit, Lactose, Lemon Juice, Lemon Oil, Maltodextrin and Vitamin C.

Good luck everyone and here is hoping to more weight gone for all of us this week!!

Great job! The stickies do provide answers to most of the questions! The book is nice to have though. I read mine over and over. A few months ago the cover fell off!
