I will be eating lunch at an Indian restaurant today. Is there anything induction friendly?

Re: Indian food - what to eat??
Read the food descriptions on the menu. And ask the waiter about them.
Some kebabs are okay---depending on how they make them. The Indian restaurant near me, just skewers the meat and adds spices. Tandoori is okay too--usually. Some curries are okay, but again, it depends how that restaurant prepares it.
For veggies, my local restaurant offers a green tossed salad and a few vegetable stews are contain Induction acceptable vegetables. (Be sure to print the pocket-sized Acceptable Foods list and bring it with you)
And of course, avoid the breads, the desserts, dishes with non-Induction ingredients.

Re: Indian food - what to eat??
I went to the Indian restaurant. It was great. I ordered a tandoori platter that had tandoori chicken, tandoori lamb, and tandoori prawns. It was awesome, and I could tell that it was not laden with any type of sugar. It is marinated in spiced yogurt and baked in a fire clay oven. I didn't touch the basmati rice that came with it. I should have told them not to bring it out since it went to waste. ( I hate wasting food like that).
Being insulin resistant, I am still very sensitive to the least amount of carbs, but 2 hours later - blood sugar was an awesome 106 and ketostix was as dark purple as it has been since I've been in induction. Must be something in the yogurt and spices! LOL

I had indian buffet for lunch today.
Chicken , salad, broccolli and cauliflower.
Really good.
It was spicy , I don't think there was a lot of sugar in the sauces, but I really don't know cause I did not cook it.
Does Indian contain a lot of sugar?
