  • Day 7

Today is my 7th day of Induction and I feel great. I'm trying out lots of recipes, which have kept things interesting. I used to feel tired all the time. I would sleep for about 10 hours then take a nap in the afternoon. Since I started Induction, I have taken any naps in the afternoon. I sleep eight hours at night and when I wake up I feel pretty good. One of the big changes is that I feel hungry when I wake up. I never used to because I would be up at night snacking. I have breakfast every morning. I even survived a trip to Wendy's. I may have looked silly going back and forth to the Nutritional Facts on the wall but in the end I was able to put together a legal meal (Jr. Double Cheseburger, no bun, no ketchup, no mayonnaise, a cesear salad, no dressing, no croutons with sour sour cream instead, and water instead of soda). All in all, today was a good day. The only thing left is to do some exercise and drink 16 more ounces of water. Then pop in a movie and go to sleep. Tomorrow is a brand new day and I'm looking forward to it.

Awesome job mesa! It is great that you are thinking before you eat instead of just guessing! That can keep you from so many trip ups! WTG and keepin it interesting is the key to success!

        Well done Mesa
Planning is half the battle won!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
