hi everyone..i am not sure where to post this, so i hope i am in the right spot...
first, i want to thank everyone who posts..this has been the hardest diet i have ever been on, as i am a carb addict..reading what everyone goes through, and everyones responses to our posts here, i was really able to stay focused and not cheat or anything, even though my husband brought home pizza this week (my biggest addiction) and 2 half gallons of ice cream...and it feels good...
i stayed on the induction list of food, avoided processed foods, walk 2 times a day mostly uphill for 40 min each walk, at least, with weights, and also include 2 rounds of cardio at 34 minutes and 3 rounds of weight training a week at 30 minutes...
i lost:
10 pounds (only 1 pound short of my goal)
6 1/4 inches from my bust
3 1/2 inches from my waist
nothing from my hips
2 1/2 inches from my upper arms
1 1/2 inches from my upper thighs
i am very proud of myself...only 60 pounds to go.....i said i could do this, now i KNOW i can do this...
thanks again to all of you who help me keep going...

I dont think the book actually says you should continue with induciton unless you have only 30 pounds to go - I read it more as saying that if you have more than 30 pounds to lose and dont want to move on to OWL yet you may stay on induction for longer than the initial 2 weeks.
