  • Need advice...What would u do?

    So I got the book last night, the Atkins New diet revolution one the board goes off. I’ve been reading it like crazy... I’m on day 4 but have NOT being doing what I was meant to. Like no soda, yesterday was the first day I didn’t drink any. Yesterday I measured my food, but really had to much veggies now that I’ve read the book I realize this. I was eating until semi full.


    So my question is, am I really at day 4. Should I count today as day 1 since I didn’t know I was doing it wrong? I also brought the Atkins journal too, it goes by day and week. I don’t want to start it at day 4 knowing I was doing it wrong. It really wouldn’t be a fair assessment at the end of the 2 weeks knowing I was doing it wrong for past 3 days.


    So what would you do? Should I count today as day 1? Now that i know what Im really doing and need to count stuff and NO soda..

    I think it's up to you. Since it's ONLY day four, you could just start doing your clean induction now, but only go for ten more days. Or you could count today as day one, doing everything cleanly and by the book.

    Honestly, since it's only been 3 days that you haven't done induction as cleanly as you would have liked, I would just stick with today being day 4, and keeping induction clean for the remaining 10 days.

    Kudos to you on reading the book. I made the mistake of trying to do induction without reading the book, and made the decision to go back and do a CLEAN induction, the way it's intended, about 6 weeks after I'd originally started. Since you realized this early, I think you'll have no problems. Carry on with day 4!

        Thanks ladies so day 4 it is. I guess it doesnt really matter cause I plan on staying longer then 14 days. So I will be really good from now on. I think I can reach my long term target by June 6th if I keep it up and stick to it..
