  • One week down and I lost......

7 Pounds. YAHHHHHHHHH I’m so excited... Today is day 7 and I’m down 8 so now I’m 168, getting closer to my goal... I was hoping to be at least 155 by the time I leave for Australia on June 6th but at this rate I might make 145 by then. I know some people slow down with losing the closer you get to goal as you don’t have that much to lose.

Do you think its unreasonable to expect to be down to 145 by June 6th that would be 23 pounds in just over 2 months. Thanks for all the great support and encouragement from every one on here. I know I wouldn’t of gotten this far with out this board. I’m so excited I meet every one and that I’m on the road to healthy thinner me.

    CONGRATS!!!!!!!

Are you working out 30 minutes a day? If you haven't, you should and if you stay on extended induction without any cheating or stalls (move off it if you stall), I say it is possible you can get to 145.

Re: One week down and I lost......

Many Atkineers find that they are able to wear smaller clothes at a higher weight than they used to before Atkins, so even if you dont reach your hoped for 145 pounds by then you might be down at the same clothes size you were when you were last at 145 pounds, regardless of your actual scales weight.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Re: One week down and I lost......

                  Congratulations!!!

I am the SAME way you are, trying to figure out what I can weigh and by when..LOL. Just please remember that you will lose a lot in the beginning and then you may slow significantly or even stop for a little bit just so your body has the chance to catch up...BUT you will still lose inches during that time so, as someone mentioned, you could weigh more and actually wear the same size you did at a smaller weight...I leaned this the hard way!! LOL Also, another thing that I noticed was as I started working out, I literally started shrinking but the scales don't relfect the changes in the mirror b/c you are building muscle mass.

Not everyone is like that but I know I am and I just don't want you to be dissapointed if you don't hit the 145 on the scale by then...just a heads up...I know I wish I had known!! LOL

Your siggy pics are both very pretty and I really hope that you can get to your goal when you would like to!!
*Dieting makes you look good with your clothes on...exercise make you look good with them off.*
