  • HI there!

    HI Everyone!

I am new here. Just started Atkins on Friday. I started at 154 pounds. I am about 5 feet 7 inches and 27 years old. Most of me weight is concentrated on my hips and thighs... Would really like to drop about 25 pounds of this!

So I am on induction and fighting cravings like crazy! I also run for 20 -25 mins about 5 times a week. I like this because it's been years since I did any regular exercise so it feels really good to be out there.

And so glad I discovered the forum. It really urges me to keep going.

PS I live in Brussels and the temptation of great chocolate and warm waffles is always in my face :-(
Fell of the bandwagon at some point but I am back!

    Re: HI there!

This is an awesome board. They have tons of recipes, and support. Check out the before and after pics of some of the members. It gives me the edge I need to keep going. I am done with week one today and I lost little over 10 pounds!
You can do it! Running definately will help you avoid those nasty stalls people talk about on here.
    Take care

You can't eat your cake and have it your way. Darn.

      Hi Ange
Congratulations on getting your exercise going from the start

I hope your first week on induction went well
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
