  • Tomorrow is the day...

Okay, I am tired of being the fat friend. None of my friends have ever said anything, but it is just a bad feeling when you have always been the biggest of the group. I am ready to get this weight off and keep it off. My lowest weight that I can ever remember was 208 and I'm ready to see that again and pass that. I have been on this board and saw the success others have had and the struggles and I think with the support of this board I can reach my goal by the end of the year or sooner.

I would like to loose 70 pounds. I plan to stay on the Induction Phase for the first 50 pounds and work through the other phases to get the other 20 pounds off and learn to keep them off.

I will be starting tomorrow. I'm not going to use the excuse that Easter is coming and my family will be cooking a nice dinner. I have to do this for myself and my health.

    Thanks for reading.

Yeah and welcome! I started this past week and so far have lost 4 pounds and am very excited. I haven't wanted to see friends, family or former colleagues because I have gained more than 50 pounds in the last while so here I am.

Everyone is soooo wonderful, kind and supportive on this board and I wish you the very best!

I can totally relate. I am the biggest guy in my group. All of my friends are of smaller composure and have more lean/atheltic looking bodies than my own. Whenever we go boating, or to the water with friends and we are all in the water...I dread taking my shirt off, because I know i'm getting visually compared to them...by me being fat, it even makes them look better...I'm going to do my best, so that they get compared to me because I set the standard......I'm sick of almost having the same sized boobs as my wife! LOL!
