    Hi,
    I have read the replies on this site numerous times, and reading others questions have really helped. Even with that, i am still down about my weight loss. I am on the fifth day of induction. I did not measure inches before i started, but did weigh myself. according to the scale i have lost seven pounds, but i don't see or feel a difference. I just feel like it is not working for me and am ready to give up. It doesn't help that my mom is on the atkins also and she hasn't lost any weight,so she is also ready to give up.

    7lbs is a huge weight loss over 5 days!!!! Stick with it - you wont be disappointed - I gurantee it!!

    I started dieting with my next door neighbour - I stuck with it, she gave up - she is now very sorry she didnt stick with it after seeing how well I've done!!!

    please stay on it - honestly its worth it!! Its totally changed my life!

      Seven pounds in 5 days is awesome. That in itself shows you that it is working very good.

      Have you been exercising? Exercise stimulates the brain, makes you feel good about yourself, gives you energy and tightens and tones the body.

      Measure yourself now. Its not too late to get a before measurement. Start a journal and make friends with others here. Thats a great way to motivate yourself.

      If you give up - you'll be cheating yourself from making it happen. We're all here and want to see you succeed.

        I have exercised a couple days but not every day and i know i should. I will measure myself tonight and start a journal. Thank you for your suggestions and help.

          Ohmygod, 7 pounds in 5 days is *awesome* work. You may not *see* the changes but they *are* happening!! Definitely take measurements. You'll be amazed later... oh, and exercise really is important.
