Re: Dinner time and Not hungry?

Well, if you're not hungry, there is no need to eat UNLESS it's been 6 hours since the last time you ate. In that case get yourself something small, a boiled egg is a perfect balance of fat/protein/carb. Or do some cream cheese on celery sticks. Ham/cream cheese roll up or something small.

      Hey Bobbie,

It is good actually to have very little appetite at this stage of your eating plan. It means you are probably deep in ketosis, and burning your fat reserves. I agree with Joy, you should try to snack on a little something if it has been close to 6 hours since you ate last. No need to stuff yourself with a big meal if you don't feel like eating. And if you change your mind and want a little something before bed then that is fine too. Just stick to the food lists, try not to go more than 6 waking hours without food, and stop eating a meal when you feel kinda full. Drink lots of water too to flush out all of the ketones your body is making! Happy low carbing!

You just need to balance the "feed only your hunger" and the "six hour" rule. If you aren't hungry, don't eat... until six hours have gone by since your last meal. If you still are not hungry then go for a small legal snack.

That's fine bombie... eating at six hour intervals (minimum) serves to keep metabolism boosted and your body from going into starvation mode. Don't forget the veggies though, at some stage in the day... preferably as spread out as you can.

              And don't forget the water.
Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
              he said, 'Don't count calories.'
