  • dinner and atkins flu.....

    hey all,
wanted to update you all on my progress. I've hit 178, and my XL shirt is getting loose. My Manboobs have decreased considerably in size, and my gut has also. It is really a great feeling. I love this diet, i really do.

Breakfast: 1 boiled egg with some leafy greens
Snack: 1 oz low carb string cheese
Lunch: Grilled chicken breast with salad with olive oil on it. some lemon juice with no sugar or anything on the chicken sometimes.
    Snack: 1 dietcoke with sucralose(splenda)
Dinner: 1 hamburger without the bun, with broccoli, and a salad
    bedtimesnack: 1 small omelette

Now, that was my menu when i didnt have this stupid atkins flu thing.

Ive puked at least 4 times in the past day, and it really sucks, but ive kept on eating this menu

    Breakfast: 1 boiled egg(whitepart)
Lunch: 1 cheeseburger without the bun
Dinner: 1 omelette and some lettuce.
Drinks: Water constantly throughout the day, no idea how much. No dietcoke with splenda.

that is all i can really stomach eating, i havent been to school in 2 days, but ive made this weighloss a priority. ive tried eating more, and in the middle of the night, i end up puking it all up at least 2-3 times.

Is this ok for a menu when sick?

when will i get over this atkins flu? does it mean im doing something right?

The Symptoms are: Nausea, fever, chills, headache, bodyache.

    let me know

    thanks

It does sound like you've got something more serious than Induction flu! Most people report headache, nausea, and general malaise...I had a horrible migraine for a day...but everyone's experience is different, so you never know, this could be some rip-roarin' induction flu you've got.

The important thing is to drink as much water as you can--part of the grossness of induction flu is brought on by dehydration. Try eating some broth or something more gentle on the tummy. Let us know how you're feeling...
