  • First Two Weeks Done!!!!!

Alright!!! First two weeks down of induction and the official loss is 10 lbs ( been up and down quite a bit...no more daily wieghing after this...lol) and from size 38 pants to a slightly tight 36. Not bad huh? I'm going to spend one more week in induction just to get a really good kick start going and then move to OWL. See you guys and gals over at Extended Induction! Thanks for all the great info and support. I've never felt better! You all ROCK!!!!!

    Peace to all

Congratz on 10lbs in only two weeks! Quite an amazing job you're doing! (Also glad to see you'll be dispensing with the daily weighing...brings nothing but trouble )

Best of luck on your continued weight loss!

            Re: First Two Weeks Done!!!!!

Thanks so much you all!!! You guys are great!!! I just had a serious butt-kickin weight workout and I'm totally pumped! I really do see now how daily weigh-ins could discourage some folks for sure. Weight really does fluctuate day to day. It would seem on one day that I'd lost say 4 lbs, then the next I'd gain back 2, then the next I'd lost 5, then gained back 2....SHEESH, what a freakin' headache...LOL.

Every two weeks I'll check, but as I'm trying to really lose fat, as opposed to actual weight, It won't make much difference as long as I can feel and see the results. What I will say is that the induction eating really fits into my busy life. I don't have a ton of different foods to buy, and I can just pack my cooler and go. I eat when I'm hungry ( my appetite still moves between non-existent and ravenous at times...but I've always been that way really) And if I really just HAVE to have some fast food, then there are always some Atkins friendly choices somewhere. Ha who needs cookies! They always made me sleepy and sweaty anyway ( Doc said that was a BAAAAD sign too).

So okay no more rambling for now. I'm heading to week three and feeling great!!!!

            Peace to all

Shawn, you should check out www.fittogether.net to keep track of measurements. This will help you track changes in body fat (very important!) and BMI (which, IMO is worthless, but hey oh well) and you can save your data, compare charts, etc. It's a really good site and it showed me that last week, although my "weight" didn't change, according to my measurements I'd lost 2.57 pounds of fat and gained 2.57 pounds of muscle. It's cool stuff, check it out.

Congrats!! Thats great. The scale can really make your head spin. I lost 10 pounds the first week, only 1 the second. Just keep telling yourself its not an overnight process.

See you at the extended induction!

                      Weigh to go
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
