    My body hasn't smelled bad.. Just recently I was at a Youth Conference and there was this guy that was really over weight.. I would say close to 500lbs.. He smelled really bad...from not being able to wash himself properly. This is what has motivated me to work on getting smaller.. I don't want to stink..

      I'm almost finished induction - I have noticed keto breath, but its not a foul breath. dbf hasn't noticed anything and we're close enough that he could say it. Its more of a sweetish taste in my mouth. Drinking lots of water helps. As for BO, defo no problem there, in fact, as with some of the others, I would say I'm sweating less!
      Can't wait for the glossy shiny hair! But just realised that my nails - which are notorious for not growing - are looking rather good right now! Some people who don't know what they are talking about, and are scared of what they dont know, have to say negative things to make themselves feel better. If I was you, I'd ignore and carry on your WOE.

        Hi there

        I have what I call ketone taste...I have a definate taste in my mouth but hubby assures me there is NO bad breath...as for body odour I find that I actually sweat a lot less since starting Atkins ...I used to sweat buckets!

        Stick with it though...being smaller will definately outweigh any breath or body odour issues...they can be easily dealt with, so long as you keep up with your hygiene routine!

          The difference in urine smell, I've noticed. Not the breath though, I stay completely hydrated. I hope I do.

            havent smelled bad...noticed the ketosis breath, but nothing major! People are just trying to scare you (again!) Oh those evil jealous ones...

              I've not only had the bad breath but I think I stink some of the time.....I 've been plastering my self with spray deoderant..I thought it was just me!!LOL

                I have found the opposite since being on Atkins - I hardly sweat and have very little body odour now according to my DH.
                Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                  My BF noticed my breath and actually made a point to get a good wiff of it. I told him that the diet can cause bad breath and he said "It's not really bad breath, just different."
                  I'm really big and have always had a problem with sweating but now that I think of it I don't sweat as much either. I wouldn't worry about it or quit over it.
