  • Induction Day 2

    Hello all,

I tried a few times in the past to start Atkins, but caved the first day. Well here we are at day two and I feel good. Did a little shopping and got my exercise. Its hard with the lung disease. But this is it. I know if I don't change who I am now, I probably won't be around long. Hopefully a pic will soon follow.

    Re: Induction Day 2

Welcome Bob! Glad you found us here at ADBB. This is a great place for support and inspiration. We understand the emotion behind weight loss, the problems and successes. You can be successful too if you get into the right mindset and follow the plan the way Dr A wrote it. The health payoffs are wonderful and I'm sure can only be of help to you.
You don't say what your lung problems are, and I really hope they are not too serious, but eating well is a real step in the right direction for sure.

Use the board, make friends, start a journal, join an exercise challenge... there are lots of activities here that are fun and inspirational.

Looking forward to seeing your pic.
    Happy losing!

      Hi Bob,

      Welcome to ABDD

Good you are feeling good on day 2 - lots of people get 'Atkins flu' around then. Even if it hits you later, keep going, it will pass - this is a great WOL and it works
