This is day 5. I have a huge headache! Just sinus. I'm feeling pretty tired and at first I didn't have any cravings but now I'm craving something sweet so bad that it is driving me crazy! I'm going to check out the recipe forum later and see what's out there. I would like to thank everyone that is helping me. It has really touched me. Thanks to Elizellen for helping me get my stats on here. I'm going to try it. But I thought I would post a few times and that would be it. I'm amazed at the support everyone gives. I know I couldn't do this without everyone. I finally found the DANDR! I started reading it last night and it is really very interesting. Thanks everyone. You don't know how much this means to me.

Re: Day 5
The mock danish is your friend! There is nothing quicker and better to stop a sweets craving in its tracks. Pumpkin Flan is also excellent!

Re: Day 5
Good for you, Missy, for getting to grips with DANDR - it certainly is a mine of information, and I seem to find something new each time I browse it again!
I was one of those Atkineers who managed to kill my sweet tooth during induction by starving it.
Each time I felt the need for something sweet I ate instead one of the high-fat snacks I had prepared in advance for 'emergencies'.
I had containers of meat/cheese rollups, creamcheese-stuffed sweet peppers (these in time began to taste really sweet to me) and hard boiled eggs in the fridge at all times!!
Other members have posted that they eat a 'sour' snack like a pickle (check for no added sugar) when they are craving 'sweet' and it does the trick.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
Check out our Low Carb Recipes website and add to it!!
