Are any ok and how much?

I like Stevia, myself, in the liquid form, is there a number of drops recommended for daily usage during Induction?

    Re: Artificial sweeteners

Dr Atkins does give us a limit for granulated Splenda
    13. You may use up to three packets of sucralose (Splenda®) daily. (More and more products are being made with Splenda® so if you use any, include those grams in your tally also.)
and here we tend to follow that rule for all kinds of sweetener - so up to three servings of whatever kind you use per day. Of course the liquid sweeteners dont have a carb count as far as I know, so you wouldnt necessarily need to add the carb per serving that we have to do for splenda.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

      Re: Artificial sweeteners

Thank you for the information. I guess Stevia has no carbs at least not in small amounts. Some doctors suggest it as a supplement rather than a sweetener so I am curious to know how much does not cause a reaction at the Induction phase.

I was just wondering is that a covered motorcycle behind you, Ellizellen? BTW, I wrote another post but it didn't get on the forum so far.

        Re: Artificial sweeteners

I think the reason it is suggested as a 'supplement' is that at least in UK (and maybe in Canda too) is that it is not recognised or legalised as being a sweetener! In fact in UK you can only buy it at health food shops!

No I am not standing by a m/bike in that photo in spite of wearing leathers - I do own one though, a classic Velocette Vogue which is in the garage awaiting my husband being fit enough after his back surgery to get out there and finish the rewiring he started a year ago. Once that is up and running I can return to being a 'biker babe'.
