I started last wednesday (on day 6 today) and have withdrawn off of caffeine (brutal because i was an expresso drinker). i have been really rigid and a typical day usually consists of 4 eggs for breakfast cooked in butter, decaf tea with 3 splenda and a tablespoon of half and half, lunch is 2 chicken thighs with skin and dinner is usually a steak or shrimp in mayo (about 15). I have approx. 12 lbs to lose and don't feel any different (i haven't gotten on the scale and i did start my . on friday which could have something to do with it). I have been drinking plenty of water but I tested the ketostix and I was in the 'trace' category. Any suggestions????? The last time I did this, I lost 6 lbs in the first week!!! I am concerned!!! I would ditch the splenda. Splenda is much better than sugar and aspartame (both cause sugar spikes) but it can stall weight loss in some people. Try getting rid of it for a couple of days and see if you feel different. If so, then the splenda may be the culprit.cheri
