For soda there is diet rite and diet orange chrush. There is also nestle ice tea drink crystals. These are both readily availble in Canada anyway. Its hard to find spenda based products since the alternatives are so much cheaper namely aspertame.

I do know that some diet coke is made with splenda. The stuff that uses splenda has the little oval logo on the box.

I think the best option is Diet Rite. It has 0 caffeine, 0 sodium, and uses splenda. It also comes in flavors - cola, tangerine (which I love) and white grape, to name a few. I waited until after my first two weeks of induction and I always make sure I drink the amount of water I'm supposed to. But these are good to have around.

I think there are some store brands that use splenda, too - like Food Lion, Bloom and maybe Sam's Choice (Wal-Mart). Not sure if you have any of those stores around.

Coke Zero is diet coke made with Splenda. My 12 year old loves it.

Hmmm... I have some Coke Zero in my cabinet right now and it has Aspartame. The only Coca Cola product I have found with Splenda is Diet Coke with the little oval Splenda Label on the box.

Got this from some other site, not sure if these are all still made or where to buy them other then online. I've had the various Hansen flavors and they are pretty decent, though my personal favorite is the Diet Rite tangerine. As a former Diet Coke addict I find the Diet Rite Cola pretty nasty, though perhaps thats because my tongue still has the idea of Diet Coke as being what a cola should taste like =)

Maybe I got the name wrong, she has only gotten it a few times out of a drink machine but I am sure it said splenda, will have to check next times she gets it.

Does anyone know if any soft drinks made with splenda are available in supermarkets in the UK? I can't find any in my local tesco.

Soda isn't good for us. It has no nutritional value. Soda can hold up our weight loss. It surely isn't an appropriate substitute for water.

If you do drink a soda, make it only one, and be sure to drink two glasses of water at the same time to compensate for the dehydration the soda causes.

The healthiest thing we could do is to give up soda altogether and just drink loads of fresh delicious water. Our body uses WATER to perform MIRACLES. Our body cannot use soda to hydrate itself.

Soda is another overmarketed, overprocessed, overpackaged, poisen that destroys the enamel on our teeth, clogs up our waste systems and harms the body. Someone is making big money on a substance that is harmful to us. Why be duped?

Hi all

UK has very little with splenda in it, shapers from boots is all I have found. It is too easy for water lovers to say soda is no good, I do drink alot of water but it has been hard and gradual. Alot of folk do lose while drinking it, not everyone is the same. I want to reduce what I drink as I don't want the false high that it gives, but I still have it from time to time. It is the only thing that has stopped me doing a clean induction.

Gradually retrain the mind and body to stop wanting soda/caffine is best. I knew it would be this way with both soda and coffee. I am down to 1 coffee and a soda twice a week, but stopping the last is tough!!
