  • 8lbs in ten days

Just had my first official weigh in. I'm making sure I use the same digital machine at my local chemist so I can keep an accurate record.

I've gone from 16st 13lbs to 16st 4lbs in the first ten days.

I'm quite happy with this as I've not managed to kick into a regular exercise pattern yet due to work commitments, so I'm hoping I can speed up this loss in the next 10 days.

I've set myself a mini goal of 15st 7lbs so I'm not far off halfway within ten days.

          well done

Remember to weigh yourself on day 15 so you can look up your metabolic resistance to weightloss on the chart in DANDR!

Well I've reached 15st 7lbs and it's been the easiest three and a half weeks of dieting ever. I've took up swimming about three times a week and the weight is dropping off as my laps are increasing.

I didn't measure myself before I started, as I knew I'd end up with the tape measure as often as I'm on the scales. However, I measure inch loss by the fact that tight trousers now require a belt, and tight shirts are now loose.

I've got just one stone to lose before I reach my goal. I can imagine it will be harder to lose weight in the coming weeks, but I don't have a single craving or desire to eat any carbs (though baking bread still smells soooo nice!) so I'm not worrying too much.

The thing is, what do I do when I'm at my goal weight! I don't want to become 'skinny' as I'm a rugby player and need the bulk! Obviously the gym will help, but I'm more concerned about sorting out what to do with my diet once I've reached goal.

Congrats on that mini goal. Feels good doesn't it! I'm working away towards my next mini goal! Check out the maintenance information on the board for people who reach goal weight. have you moved onto OWL yet? I think you should definetly do that, as you are close to goal. It will help you maintain in the long run.

I agree with perfect10, move to OWL now to make sure you find your CCLL and test the effects the different foods have on you while you are losing weight.

Then you will be ready to move to maintenance eating once you reach goal with knowledge of what and how much you can eat and maintain!
