  • Vegetable Broth? Cucumber Dressing?

I read the package lable to the vegetable broth saying it has 3g total carbs and no fibre and sugar 2g and same for the cucumber dressing. Is this allowed during induction?

      Sorry, pressed send too soon!

You could try making your own - as long as all the ingredients are on the induction list - add splenda if you need to but i find that they just add sugars for no reason! they never seem to need it!

Actually, the salad dressing would be fine. Dr. Atkins states in the book that added sugar in salad dressing is okay so long as the sugar is no more than 2g per serving. Really, you'd be hard pressed to find a salad dressing out there that doesn't have any added sugars. There are a few, but might as well use the kind you like so long as you keep it within the above parameters.

            Best of luck!

No - actually he says we can use dressings with up to 2 carbs per tablespoon if they have NO added sugar!!
Prepared salad dressings without added sugar and no more than two carbs per tablespoon serving are also fine.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
