    Hello all

    Well today I am on day 1 induction...and not for the first time! I am not looking forward to the first few days I can tell you, it sucks for me big time.

    I am looking to eat better rather than weight loss, I have got into the habit of too many carbs, carb creep, not bad but enough to slow me down and lose the sharp edge.

    I am hoping to start feeling more energised and stop drinking coffee and cherry coke. I shall have to do this slowly rather than cold turkey, half and half to start.

    Going to make some chicken consome to drink throughout the day, which I love to have at hand but always seem to avoid making it in time.

    Anyone else starting today?

    Hi Sallyann,

    today is my 1.day too.
    I believe that if we stay calm and focused we can achieve our goals.
    For me knowing that I'm not alone in learning and accepting this WOE gives me strenght to begin,only time will show if I really was ready to take control of my life.

      Good Luck to you also! These first few days are going to be tough for me, if I can make it till tomorrow it will be a great start. Days 1 and 2 are a challenge for me.

      I will need to chack into the forum as much as possible for support, it helps so much.

        Welcome to the board SallyAnn.. My advice is to plan.. Plan your week. And when you are feeling discouraged..Go to the Before and After Picture section it will help to inspire you

            Good luck on your first day Sally - yes come on here as much as possible for hints and tips! I found this site a life saver when I first started. Plus if your fingers are on here typing they cant be used to pop food into your mouth!!! hehe!!!

            Have you joined any challenges?? I find they keep me really focused!

              Thanks for your replies...done OK so far. It's the evening challenge now, getting through the family maddness and eating!!

              Hi Jane, no challenges just yet - I'll get beyond the first few days which is a challenge in it'self for me. One day at a time...hoping to do well but worried.
