    Re: Introduction Friendly Deserts

I skipped those look-alike desserts during my Induction and if I did eat them, I reserved them for special occasions like birthdays or holidays.

For my Atkins, I have a rich, full fat dessert cheese like Brie, Camembert or Port Salut at the end of the meal.

I also have cheese after a meal sometimes, especially if I don't feel full because I find cheese can fill me up. Also, I make these things you can find in the "snack" section of this website.....

Take some creamcheese....maybe 3 biiiig spoonfuls and soften it in the microwave until it's easy to mix, then mix in 2 packages of Splenda and some cinnamon. Then, drop them in little circles (make them look like Hershey kisses I guess!) onto some wax paper. Freeze them like that for an hour, or more depending on how hard you like them. SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. These things have saved me from eating something I'm not supposed to SO many times!
Just make sure you remember to count the carbs, but there's hardly any in them.

I would echo not2late's sentiments: It's best to skip "desserts" during induction, ESPECIALLY if you have a sweet tooth. If you keep feeding your sweet tooth, you'll never be rid of a sugar/sweets addiction.
