        Re: a little scared

I can't believe that someone would be that rude to you! I hate it when people try and tell you that everything you're doing to lose weight is wrong with this WOE - they usually know absolutely nothing about it, and are just going on stupid hyped-up scaremonger stories they've heard second hand.

I have been on several low-fat diets, and have lost 4lbs one week then over the next few weeks put on 3 and end up completely starving and obsessed with food - the most I ever lost this way was about 6lbs in 3 months.
The only WOE that has ever worked for me is low-carb. It IS very scary to put faith in such a high fat diet but for me at least, I was probably eating just as much fat before, when I wasn't on any diet, AND I was eating all the carbs too! Now, even though I could, I don't really eat bacon and eggs for breakfast everyday and a steak for lunch and dinner (as the naysayers tend to think) - I eat a load of veggies, fresh meat and fish - how can anyone say that that is wrong!
The results will speak for themselves, I promise you.

            What a good observation
I beta lot of us would find our fat and protein numbers would be similar to our pre-Atkins way of eating, so we are not actually eating MORE fat then before, just more in proportion to the carbs we now eat.
