I was wondering if I had a large Cucumber, if that would count for my daily veggies? I figure it out to be 7 carbs?

Re: cucumbers
You should have three cups of veggies. The cucumber might count as one cup.... try some other veggies, too!

Re: cucumbers
When you are in induction, eat according to the book. 2 cups of salad veggies and 1 cup of other allowable veggies or another cup of salad veggies. 1 cucumber probably won't add up to 3 cups. Good question! Stick with it!

Re: cucumbers
According to the USDA database one cup of slices of cucumber weighs about 100 grams (3.5 ounces) and has 3.73 net carbs.
http://riley.nal.usda.gov/NDL/cgi-bin/list_nut_edit.plWondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
