It depends what the sausage is made of. Many sausages have carbohydrate fillers: 'corn syrup solids', wheat fillers, soy fillers, etc. So you have to read the package and see if the ingredients of the sausage are acceptable for Atkins Induction Phase.
At this point there isn't much for you to do other than to chalk this up to learning experience. Continue with your Atkins as planned.
