  • Too Little Carbs?

I have been eating only around 10 carbs a day since my start on 5/15/07.
Can too little carbs be a problem?. I am eating so litle because if feel that if I start eating other things besides meat cheese, and pork rinds it will only make me want to cheat . I only eat veggies every couple of days. Most of my carbs come form seasonings and worchester sauce, and sometimes low carb bbq sauce. Do I need to canage my habits or should I just do what I think will make most satisfied when eating?

    Re: Too Little Carbs?

You need to eat vegetables every single day. 3 cups for the first two weeks of induction and then you add even more vegetables. I'd suggest to you to get a copy of Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution copyright 2002. This is not a "starvation" diet. You should be eating food until you are satisfied but not stuffed. Too little food will cause your body to hold on to it's fat stores...you don't want that to happen.

Until you can actually get the book, take a look at these two threads:

    Rules of Induction: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ead.php?t=6782

Just when you think you've eaten enough vegetables...EAT SOME MORE!
