  • Sodium Intake

I'm sure the answer to this question is someone on here, but there is so much info, I can't seem to find it. My question is how much sodium am I allowed to have per day? I think I tend to over salt and season my meat, but it tastes so much better that way. Is there a number I should be focusing on?

    AHA Recommendation
Healthy American adults should eat less than 2,300 milligrams of sodium a day. This is about 1 teaspoon of sodium chloride (salt). To illustrate, the following are sources of sodium in the diet.
