    Its nice to meet you both as well.Atkid, I will post a new picture soon! I need to get some film! Ukgirl, I already ordered the GABA...but if I don't see a difference in my joint pain and sleep pattern from it I will take your advice. Keep up the good work ladies. You are all doing so well.

    This was taken October 2007, I weigh 375.

    I was on atkins last year in the early fall and lost about 30 pounds. I obviously gained it back...but I know this is the right diet for me as it works very good. So I am back!

      Well done Jenny. You are already justifying your screen name

      I am glad you and your man are in this together - it helps so much to have support so close to home!

      Swimming and water exercises are great for those with a substantial weight to lose as well as those with joint pains, so congrats on making the decision and not putting the exercise off till you are further on in your Atkins journey.

        Thanks so much for your uplifting message.You look wonderful by the way. I am happy I have good support at home. I have known people who didn't and struggled terribly. Its make it easier having to make the same meal for everyone. I am blessed.

          I have lost 13 pounds and I am only on day 7 of induction!!!!!!

            meltinglady, this is just terrific news. Swimming will do wonders for you, besides, it is so much fun in the water. And the water maks you feel so much lighter which allows you to move parts that are not used to being moved so much Way to go!

              This has actually been a great 7 days. I don't even fell like I am dieting. However, my hubby is eating what I prepare. He is losing weight too LOL. He can't believe it. HAHAHAH! It will be a challenge when I return to work and school in the fall as I will be in the public more and the peopel I work with are obese and love to eat. Everyday their is something sweet. So, I need to get it together now and gain strength from my friends here so I am prepared when I return there.

              This board has helped me so much to be accountable to people who care and don't judge me for the way I look. I will see my goal, and I know everyone who comes here for support will to if they just hang in there and don't give up. STOP LETTING FOOD CONTROL YOU!

              Personally I am sick of the merri-go round! I guess you just have to get sick of it all before it kills you. I bought a roll of film and will have my hubby pop some pics of me and hopefully get them uploaded this weekend.

              I have to run, going to buy some paint for my bathroom and I still have to exercise LOL>yikes all them challenges! I can do it though, the day is still young. Talk to you later.
