  • End of Day 1: weirdness, yet awesome

Well, this is better than I anticipated!

Breakfast was eggs with cheese, Lunch was salad with a hard boiled egg, turkey, 1/2 avocado, REAL ranch dressing (ahhhh) Dinner was chicken with lots of pepper and garlic, salad with more of that dressing and cucumbers and a few spears of asparagas...and wth? I'm not hungry! Dinner was 2 hours ago and I am always in "snack mode" by now!

The "sleepys" hit me around 3pm, but they do anyway...

*crossing my fingers I don't get terribly ill in a day or 2*

Yay! You started the same day I did. Although this morning I was sick as a dog. This is my 5th time doing Atkins and I never got the flu this bad, I pushed myself through the day though and drank a ton of water, things are looking up! How's your second day going?

Re: End of Day 2: weirdness, yet awesome

Okay, end of day 2...I am in the "this is too good to be true" phase apparently! It is hard to believe that I can eat this delicious "nono" food and lose weight?! wth?!

And I feel fine *knocks wood*. I'm not hungry. I've enjoyed every bite of everything without guilt (ok, some guilt left over from my "lowfat" days).

                A bit of history:

I've lost 110 pounds since December of 05, and would like to lose about 60 more. But I've not lost a pound in months, and am just SICK of feeling hungry all the time! That's why I decided to start Atkins, after seeing the success a coworker had with just a few weeks.

Cool, it will be great to support each other! Sorry you aren't feeling good tho, I'm sort of waiting for the other shoe to drop as far as how good I'm feeling today.
