  • Day 5 *yes* so excited!

    I am just shocked and amazed.

    I've done it both ways:

    Lost my first 110 pounds on low fat diet. Tired a lot. Felt deprived and hungry OFTEN.

    Hit a brick wall with weight loss back in Jan. Put on 7 pounds. grrr...

    Did a lot of research and started Atkins Tuesday.

    I have no idea how much I've lost, but I feel TERRIFFIC and have TONS of energy, DO NOT feel hungry or deprived! I am just floored by the ease of this plan! It's very exciting to me knowing I can live with this plan, and not feel like I'm missing out on foods I enjoy (steak, anyone?)

    F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )

      Good for you! How exciting to be able to actually eat AND lose weight! I just love this WOE!

        Awesome.. I know its a great feeling.. Especially when you are chowing down on that yummy steak..and CAN eat the fat off of it too...lol (One of my favorite parts)
