Hey good people. I have a question about the induction phase and the foods you're alowd to eat.
I have a friend who started Atkins October of last year and has lost alot of weight. The thing is, is that he doesn't follow the actual Phases or alowd foods. He keeps his carbs below 20g a day and eats whatever carbs he wants. For example, he goes to the store and buys the beef jerky with like 8g of carb per bag and has sugar in it, he also buys the store ketchup with 2g of carb per teaspoon or tablespoon, not sure on the difference. Also, he eats tortillas and all those goodies but he just remains on the induction phase. Yet, he lost about 70 pounds.
So, my question is, What's wrong with eating things like tortilla's or store bought ketchup and beef jerky.(the good kind
)
I would assume that kicking out any foods with sugar in it will help kick the cravings, am I right?
