  • girl question!!!!!

    okay i couldn't find any specific threads on this so here goes. yesteraday and today i have not really been hungry hungry but i have been kinda craving atkins friendly foods and found myself snacking a lot more than usual and eating up to like 1800 calories a day when i have been ranging from like 1200-1500 or so usually. TOM joined me today and i don't know if that might be the reason for eating so much or what. i want to identify the problem and if it is that i would kinda like to know... any of you gals have that problem??? i am kinda freaking out from the extra calories (i know i shouldn't but i am still getting used to eating that much)....anyways, any input from anybody would be VERY welcome!

    Start date: May 28th
    SW: 175 GW: 140 CHeight: 5'7 CHips: 42 CThighs: 25
    June 11th: goal =169 MET GOAL, JUNE 3RD (16
    June 25th: goal=165 MET GOAL JUNE 10TH!!
    July 2nd: goal=160
    July 16th: goal=155
    July 30th: goal=150
    August 13th: goal= 145 and 15 inches lost
    August 30th: PT test/Weigh in for the Naval Academy!!!
    Inches lost since May 28th: 2.5 Thighs, 1 hips, 2 waist

    I have issues with cravings and hunger as well around that time, I'm sure most women do. Try to make good snack choices, and ensure that it's really hunger and not thirst. But yes my calories are usually higher for a couple of days.

      I dont get cravings as such but i do feel hungrier and consume more calories around the day that TOMs due and also around ovulation time, its normal don't stress!

        lol! thanks! i was a little worried...and stressed..probably caused by TOM as well...lol..what a vicous cycle..lol. anyways thanks! that makes me feel better!
