    Re: heavy whipping cream question..

Since you've only been doing Atkins for a couple of weeks, I'm guessing you are dealing with the dreaded post induction stall syndrome (P.I.S.S.) that most people go through. Stay your course, contiue to make good choices, and give it a little time.

That being said, some people DO have trouble with the heavy cream. You very well may be one of them. You can try omitting it from your diet and see what happens. Just remember though, you won't lose weight every day, every other day and there may be times when you don't even lose weight every week. This is natural, and actually, completely healthy. Studies have shown time and time again that weight taken off more slowly tends to stay off more so than weight taken off quickly.

You have chosen a wonderfully healthy lifestyle with the Atkins way of life. Don't let the normal waxing and waning of weight loss frustrate you so much. Remember, you didn't gain it all in a few weeks and you won't take it off in a few weeks either. It will come off with patience, dilligence and hard work and you will be so proud of yourself.

I wish you the best of luck!

They do have a diet coke sweetened with SPLENDA now and it tastes a whole of a lot better. Just as long as we remember to count one carb per serving, even though it says zero. I hate that. Then, you can't binge on them..lol.
